Hi, I’m Raven, welcome to Little Sloth Co.
Little Sloth Co was born from a big life shift. In 2019, my husband and I skipped the traditional wedding and backpacked through South America. Leaving behind a 15-year interior design career was scary, but the journey changed everything. It made me rethink what I wanted from life, work, family time and the impact we have on the environment.
Around that same time, I became a first-time aunty and found myself constantly searching for the best quality, most unique baby products — often from small businesses all over South Africa. I kept thinking, “Why isn’t there one place that brings all of these beautiful items together?”
When we returned home, the world had changed, and during lockdown I found myself unexpectedly unemployed. Then came the best news of 2020, my niece was getting a baby brother — and that idea sparked into something real.
Little Sloth Co was created to offer a carefully curated collection of baby and children’s toys, books, plush, accessories, and gift boxes — all delivered to your doorstep. We proudly support local South African businesses wherever possible, while also stocking a select range of trusted international brands.
Since then, I’ve also become a mommy myself. First to a baby girl in 2022, and then again in 2025. Two little ones who have become my “perfect product testers” and have given me real insight into what parents truly need, as well as what makes a thoughtful, practical and beautiful gift for both first-time and second-time moms.
